A documentary summarizing the 40 years of the most important film event in Poland – the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia. A journey to the oldest parties of the festival told using archival materials and fragments of the most important films of the forties. The narration in the film is conducted using archival snapshots from subsequent editions of the festival, in which we find fragments of interviews with festival organizers, guest speeches, summaries of journalists, exceptions from the solemn closing gala and television coverage.
